Travelling to Ibiza: The Basics

Located off the coast of Valencia city in Iberian Peninsula, Ibiza is the third largest of the Balearic Islands which is an autonomous community in Spain. Catalan and Spanish are the official languages here, and it is made up of three cities: San Antonio, Ibiza Town and Santa Eularia des Riu.

The city of Ibiza is located on the southeast coast part of the island and its official Catalan name is Eivissa. Ibiza town is further divided into two parts – the old town or Dalt Villa, and Eixample which is the more modern part of Ibiza.
